Rotate PDF
Rotate every page of a PDF by 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Content is not re-rendered, so quality is untouched.
What it does
Sideways scans and upside-down pages are hard to read and print badly. This tool rotates every page of a PDF by 90, 180 or 270 degrees and saves the result permanently.
Pages are not redrawn; only their orientation changes. That makes it instant, keeps text selectable and leaves the file size unchanged.
How to use it
- Drop your PDF file.
- Choose the direction and the angle.
- Press "Rotate and download".
When is it useful?
- Fixing documents that were scanned sideways
- Turning landscape phone photos of pages upright
- Flipping printouts that were fed in upside down
- Saving wide tables in a readable orientation
Tips
- If only some pages are sideways, rotate them one by one in Page Organizer.
- If rotating leaves wide margins, tidy them with Crop PDF.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the rotation permanent?
- Yes. When the new PDF is saved, the page rotation angle is written into the file itself.
- Does the text quality suffer?
- No. The pages are not redrawn; only the orientation data changes, and the content is preserved exactly.
- Can I rotate individual pages?
- This tool rotates all pages by the same angle. To rotate pages individually, use the Page Editor.
- Does rotation affect printing?
- Yes, for the better. The orientation is saved in the file, so printers print each page the right way up.
