Frequently asked questions

Are my changes permanent?
Yes. Watermarks, signatures, numbers and redactions are written into the PDF you download. Your original file is not changed.
Is redacted text really removed?
Yes. The redacted page is turned into an image with the black areas burned in, so the text underneath can no longer be selected or searched.
Is a drawn signature legally valid?
A drawn signature is a simple electronic signature and is fine for everyday paperwork. Official procedures may require a qualified electronic signature.
